Moraine is another new Naramata Bench winery. Owners Oleg and Svetlana Aristarkhov relocated from Alberta to start their new endeavor and have purposely kept their portfolio small with Pinot Gris, Viognier and a handful of red and white blends. Moraine has a total of 10.5 acres under vine—the 7-acre Anastasia and 3.5-acre Sophia vineyards, named after their daughters—but are only making wine from the larger Anastasia vineyard as Sophia is still maturing. Stop in this Saturday, June 15, from 2 to 4 pm to try three offerings—one varietal and two red blends—from this up and coming boutique winery.2012 Viogner
2012 Red Mountain (Malbec/Cab Franc)
2011 Cliffhanger Red (Gamay/Shiraz)
